Happy Birthday Duke!
Another sad loss from our class. . . I distinctly remember Robert from our shared 6th grade class at Jefferson with Mr. Sawinski. Next to Bob Pinney, he was one of the most buffed kids in the school. Deepest condolences to his family and those who knew him best.
I missed your birthday, friend. Belated best wishes and blessings to you until we see each other at #55!

Mark Beyer and I were able to make it to a very nice and music-filled celebration of Dan's life yesterday, July 9.
Here's both a link to a sampling of this music: https://use.vg/B5wPjR -
and a picture with Ron Chapman (left) and his wife, Kris (Welling) who knew Dan well and also gave a touching tribute.

Dan Petersen and I became friends when my family moved around the corner from his house when we were in 2nd grade. He was Danny then, until we made the adventurous leap to Mitchell for 6th grade. We had music and math connections through middle and high school, but our best connections were the occasional walk to or from school when we'd catch up . Dan was a good person and I am sure he will be missed his family and friends.
