HAIL TO THEE PARK HIGH

It has been a year since the 50th class reunion! And 2020, has brought challenges we could not have imagined or anticipated, including recent deaths we are aware of including: John Person, David Billingsley, David Ellingham, and Billie Johnson.

A number of years ago, a “Class of 69” Scholarship Fund was established. Now we are reaching out to ask for your support and donation to that fund.

HAIL THY ORANGE AND BLUE

Many of us benefited from post-high school training and education at a much lower cost than now. We understand the impact and value that continuing education beyond high school can have. But today, the reality of a post-high school education carries a price tag that would have deterred many of us.

THY LIGHT SHALL GUIDE US, THY BEACON BRIGHT AND TRUE

We ask you to consider a donation to the “Class of 69” Scholarship Fund. Our hope is for this fund to live on long after the last survivor of our class has passed. It is a way for us to give back and say “thanks” to all those who inspired and guided us in those critical adolescent years. We are not done yet: we can still make a difference in the lives of future Park High graduates. Please consider a gift today using the Scholarship Donation tab on the class website or go directly to:

WE’LL SERVE THEE ALWAYS

Here are a few reasons to contribute:

  • In memory of a deceased classmate

  • In honor of a close friend, favorite teacher, counselor, coach, team, club or staff member

  • Establish a planned gift in your will. Please work directly with your financial planner or attorney

THIS OUR PLEDGE SHALL BE

In light of the fact we graduated in 1969 and because most of us have had or are nearing our 69th birthday, please consider donating $69.00. If all surviving members of the class would make a one-time donation of $69.00, there would be well over $27,000 for the fund. But, any amount you can donate will be welcome. Our goal this year is $6,900.

Help us, help future generations of Washington Park High School graduates fulfill their dreams.

PARK HIGH FOREVER, HAIL, HAIL, HAIL TO THEE!

Thank you !
