Dan Petersen and I became friends when my family moved around the corner from his house when we were in 2nd grade. He was Danny then, until we made the adventurous leap to Mitchell for 6th grade. We had music and math connections through middle and high school, but our best connections were the occasional walk to or from school when we'd catch up  . Dan was a good person and I am sure he will be missed his family and friends.

I don’t live very far from you- we live in Sparta. Maybe we could meet for lunch sometime? I am not going to the dinner, not sure about Friday night either - we are going to a family memorial service in Waterford that afternoon that just got scheduled.
